Senses Bodega Thieriot Vineyard West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a red wine that combines the elegance of the New World and the Old World.
The name brings together the Senses brand and the Thieriot family’s vineyard. The founders of the vineyard are a young couple who spent a long time searching for the right coastal site before establishing their plantings.
West Sonoma Coast is one of the coolest areas in Sonoma County: ocean breezes and fog moderate the growing season, extend the ripening period, and preserve both acidity and aromatic finesse.
This Pinot Noir has matured in French oak barrels for approximately 12 months.
The wine has an ageing potential of 1–3 years, but it is already open and enjoyable now. It pairs beautifully with a variety of light meat dishes, such as grilled chicken breast, or alternatively with a forest mushroom risotto. Among fish dishes, smoked fish is also well worth trying.
