A top‑quality red wine from Chile, where Andean minerality and Pacific coolness bring remarkable depth to the wine.
Rocas de Seña is a project of the iconic Seña winery, originally born from the collaboration between the Mondavi and Chadwick families, whose ambition was to create Chile’s first true “Grand Cru.”
The wine comes from the cool coastal area of Aconcagua Costa, where the Pacific’s Humboldt Current brings cool breezes and fog to the vineyards. Rocas de Seña is a blend of several grape varieties: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache, Petit Verdot and Mourvèdre.
The grapes are hand‑harvested, and fermentation takes place in small batches, allowing precise expression of each variety and vineyard. The wine is aged in French oak barrels and large foudre vessels.
A Chilean red wine that truly shines with grilled meats, game, hearty stews and spicy vegetarian dishes. Also an excellent companion to cheeses. This distinguished wine for both everyday moments and celebrations opens beautifully after a short decant.
