Mikulski Bourgogne Meursault Pre de Manche Blanc 2023
Sis. ALV 25,5%
The "Hidden Clos" – A Precise and Mineral New Addition
In March 2026, the 2023 Meursault "Le Pré de Manche" (sometimes referred to as "Clos du Pré de Manche") is one of the most exciting "new" chapters in the Mikulski portfolio. Sourced from a tiny 0.3-hectare parcel situated near the prestigious Santenots and Caillerets vineyards, this wine is quickly gaining a reputation for its "insolent" freshness and sophisticated structure.
The 2023 vintage allowed this cooler, high-elevation site to produce a bountiful and expressive crop, capturing the essence of the terroir's fractured limestone slab and gravelly soils.
🍷 Tasting Notes (2026 Perspective)
The 2023 expression is described as "sensual and gourmet," offering a stunning balance between ripe fruit and a vibrant, spicy energy.
-
The Nose: Intoxicating and Complex. It leads with an alluring bouquet of bergamot, nutmeg, and crushed cloves, with a subtle, exotic hint of musk. As it opens, you'll find layers of praline nuts, candied white fruits, and orange blossom cake.
-
The Palate: Silky and Spiced. The entry is soft and caressing, featuring juicy flavors of lime, Meyer lemon, and Granny Smith apple. This is followed by a "lively progression" of Sichuan pepper, saffron, and minty freshness that ignites the tongue.
-
The Finish: Long and Focused. It concludes with a tight, precise finish of mineral salts and ripe tannins, leaving a persistent trail of citrus pith and "empyreumatic" (smoky/stony) character.

Pro Tip
This Meursault is surprisingly accessible in its youth, but it truly benefits from air. Decant it for 30–60 minutes to allow the sophisticated spicy notes (nutmeg and clove) to fully integrate with the vibrant citrus fruit. Serve at 11°C–12°C. Its combination of "fire and ice" makes it a perfect partner for slightly spicy or exotic dishes, such as Cantonese-style glazed pork or a scallop gratin with saffron.
