Mikulski Bourgogne Meursault Limozin Blanc 2023
Sis. ALV 25,5%
The "Hidden Gem" – A Broad-Shouldered and Seductive Lieu-Dit
In March 2026, the 2023 Meursault "Le Limozin" is gaining recognition as one of the most compelling "Lieu-Dit" (named plot) wines in Mikulski’s portfolio. Situated directly below the prestigious 1er Cru Les Genevrières, the Limozin vineyard benefits from a unique microclimate and soil composition—heavy alluvial river sediment with less limestone—which gives the wine a broader, more grounding structure than the high-altitude Tillets or the rocky Meix Chavaux.
Because Mikulski only produces about 600 bottles of Limozin when he chooses to vinify it separately, it is considered a "rare find" for those who appreciate the generous, gourmet side of Meursault.
🍷 Tasting Notes (2026 Perspective)
The 2023 vintage is described as "sensual and full-bodied," offering a more fruit-forward and "gourmet" experience than the linear 2021.
-
The Nose: Lush and Exotic. It leads with ripe aromas of poached pear, yellow peach, and mango. Beneath the fruit lies a decadent layer of vanilla panna cotta, fresh hazelnuts, and sweet almond oil, with a faint floral hint of violet.
-
The Palate: Enveloping and Silky. The entry is "fleshy and voluminous." You'll find flavors of caramelized apple and apricot balanced by a warm, spicy complexity—think cloves, cardamom, and white pepper.
-
The Finish: Long and Persistent. It leaves a savory, "mouth-watering" trail of citrus zest and honey, with a subtle mineral "grip" that provides structure and lift to the richness.

Pro Tip
The Limozin is the ultimate "gastronomy Meursault." Because of its broader structure and spicy undertones, it is one of the few white Burgundies that can stand up to bold flavors like Glazed Salmon with Ginger or Roast Chicken with Ceps. Serve at 12°C–14°C in a large balloon glass to allow its "sensual" bouquet to fully expand.
