Francois Mikulski’s Bourgogne Côte d’Or Pinot Noir is a pure, elegant red wine crafted with uncompromising artisanal skill.
Francois Mikulski founded his winery in the 1990s and quickly rose to become one of the most respected producers in the region. The family’s philosophy is clear and strong: the wine must reflect its origin as purely as possible.
The soil in the Côte d’Or consists of limestone and clay, producing elegant, fresh and aromatic red wines from the Pinot Noir grape. The region’s cool climate and long growing seasons result in wines that are both refined and vibrant.
The harvest is carried out mainly by hand to ensure that only perfect grapes make it into the wine. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, and the wine is aged in oak barrels for at least 10 months.
