Massetino 2020 is an exceptionally refined and modern interpretation of the Bolgheri Super Tuscan style.
Massetino was launched only in 2019, but Masseto is one of Italy’s most famous vineyards, and its story began back in the 1980s.
The wine comes from Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast, where sea breezes, a warm climate and clay-rich soils create ideal conditions for grape ripening. The wine is made primarily from Merlot, complemented by a small amount of Cabernet Franc.
The grapes are carefully hand‑harvested. Fermentation takes place in small batches to ensure the wine’s complete aromatic expression and structure. The wine is aged for at least 15 months in French oak barrels.
