Ripe Orchard Fruit, Creamy Texture, and Easygoing California Charm
Founded in Sonoma County in 1985 by Tim Murphy, Dale Goode, and Dave Ready, Murphy-Goode built its reputation on producing expressive, down-to-earth California wines. Today under the Jackson Family Wines umbrella, their California appellation Chardonnay brings together fruit from several coastal and inland growing areas to craft a generous, fruit-forward and well-balanced white.
The 2024 vintage is a fresh, approachable Chardonnay made for enjoying young, combining ripe fruit with a gentle touch of oak.
🥂 Tasting Profile
The Nose: Fruity, Bright, and Inviting. Aromas of yellow apple, ripe pear and pineapple, with hints of vanilla, lemon peel and light toast.
The Palate: Medium-Bodied, Round, and Creamy. Juicy orchard and tropical fruit on a smooth, rounded texture, kept lively by fresh acidity.

The Classic Bistro Match: Great alongside roast chicken, creamy pasta, grilled shrimp or pork tenderloin.
The Cheese Match: Pairs nicely with mild Gouda, Comté or creamy Brie.
The "Nordic" Match: Excellent with butter-fried whitefish or salmon with dill potatoes, or a creamy salmon soup (lohikeitto). The wine's round fruit and creamy texture complement buttery and dill-accented dishes beautifully.
