An iconic Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon where deep fruit, refined oak and long aging potential come together in exceptional balance.
Freemark Abbey is one of the oldest wineries in Napa Valley. The Bosché vineyard is one of Rutherford’s most esteemed sites, renowned for producing Cabernet Sauvignon that combines the region’s classic ‘Rutherford dust’ aroma profile with exceptional depth.
The wine comes from Rutherford, in the heart of Napa Valley, where warm days and cool nights ripen Cabernet Sauvignon into an intense yet balanced style. The soil is well‑draining and mineral‑rich, giving the wines their characteristic earthiness and finely textured tannin structure.
Hand‑harvested and carefully selected grapes highlight the vineyard’s distinctive aromatics. The wine is aged 20–26 months in French oak barrels, adding depth, dark fruit, spice and chocolate notes that are hallmarks of the Bosché vineyard.
An excellent match for grilled meats, game, slow‑cooked dishes and robust cheeses. The wine ages beautifully in the cellar, with its tannin structure and acidity promising long life.
