Feudi di San Gregorio Costa delle Parracine is a modern, vibrant wine where Vesuvius’ volcanic soils and Campania’s traditions shine.
Feudi di San Gregorio is one of the most renowned and respected producers in Campania. The estate was founded in the 1980s with the ambition of elevating Southern Italy’s indigenous grape varieties, such as Falanghina, Greco, and Aglianico to global recognition. Costa delle Parracine refers to the traditional stone walls (parracine) of Campania, used to support hillside terraces and protect vineyards. The name reflects the wine’s roots and the region’s unique cultural heritage.
The wine comes from Campania, where the vines grow in volcanic soils. These soils give the grapes minerality, freshness, and a pure aromatic expression.
The grapes are hand‑harvested to ensure that only perfectly ripe fruit reaches the press. Fermentation takes place at cool temperatures in stainless‑steel tanks, preserving the primary aromas of the variety and highlighting Falanghina’s natural citrus and floral notes. The wine spends a short period on its lees, adding a velvety mouthfeel and subtle structure. The result is a pure, mineral‑driven, and refreshingly crisp white wine.
Costa delle Parracine is a versatile food wine but also enjoyable on its own. It pairs beautifully with seafood, fresh pasta and risotto dishes, vegetarian plates, light salads, and antipasti. Try it with lemon linguine, grilled octopus, or zucchini lasagna.
