Domaine Tassin’s modern interpretation of Sancerre: a fresh, mineral‑driven and refined Sauvignon Blanc.
Domaine Tassin is a family estate dating back to the 18th century, where several generations have carried on the traditional winemaking of the Sancerre region. Today, Gérard and Stéphane Tassin uphold the family philosophy of craftsmanship, traditional vineyard practices and deep respect for the terroir.
Domaine Tassin is located in one of the world’s most renowned Sauvignon Blanc regions, Sancerre. The estate covers 18 hectares, 15 of which are planted with Sauvignon Blanc. The vineyards grow on clay‑limestone soils and the stony caillottes terrain, producing wines with pronounced minerality and vibrant freshness.
The Sauvignon Blanc is gently pressed, and fermentation takes place at cool temperatures to preserve the aromas. Ageing is done mainly in stainless steel tanks, highlighting the grape’s citrus and herbal notes.
A crisp glass of Sancerre is perfect as an aperitif or for relaxed social moments, but it also shines at the table. Whether you're hosting a crayfish party or grilling fish, this wine is a great choice to keep in mind. All kinds of seafood pair beautifully with it. Salads and cheeses also work well with Sancerre’s bright acidity, and goat cheese is a true classic match.
