In this wine, the traditions of Bordeaux meet the purity of modern winemaking.
Château Argadens is an estate owned by the Sichel family, whose history dates back to the 13th century. The family is well known for its long and respected role in Bordeaux’s wine culture. The name “Argadens” originates from a medieval family that ruled the area and laid the foundation for the present‑day vineyard.
Château Argadens is located in the Entre‑Deux‑Mers region, which is known for its fresh and aromatic white wines. The wine is typically made as a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Muscadelle.
The grapes are hand‑harvested to ensure that only the best clusters make it to the press. The wine ferments at a cool temperature, preserving its fruitiness and the purity of its aromas. Part of the wine is aged on the lees, which adds a creamy texture and enhances the structure.
