Borgo Molino Prosecco

The "Designer's Choice" – High-Class Fizz from the Treviso Hills

The Vibe

If you see a bottle of Borgo Molino, the first thing you'll notice is the "packaging." They use a distinct, slightly squatter, bell-shaped bottle that feels much more premium than your average supermarket Prosecco. But it's not just about looks; the Nardini family (who founded the estate in 1922) are masters of the "Martinotti" (Charmat) method, producing bubbles that are famously fine and persistent.

In 2026, they remain one of the most reliable names in the Veneto, offering everything from "everyday" Treviso DOC to top-tier Valdobbiadene DOCG.

The Classics: Treviso DOC

These are the "blue label" and "white label" standards you'll find at most high-end wine shops.

  • Extra Dry: Despite the name, this is the classic, slightly rounder style.

    • Nose: Acacia flowers, honeydew melon, and ripe yellow apples.

    • Palate: Soft and "shimmering" with about 15–16 g/l of residual sugar. It’s light, crisp, and has a very friendly finish.

Pro Tip

In 2026, the 2024 and 2025 bottlings are at their absolute peak of freshness. Prosecco does not age well—the "pop" and floral energy are best within 18 months of bottling. Serve it very cold (6–8°C). Because of the beautiful bottle design, this is widely considered the "best gift Prosecco" when you want to look like you spent more than you actually did.
